Who should attend?

Any peron who is expected to respond to a fire alarm or may be confronted with a real fire; any employee.

Location

In the comfort of your own premises

Theory sessions take place in a meeting room or training room.

Practical session takes place in a suitable outside area (approximately 5 car parking spaces) away from buildings.

All appropriate equipment will be brought by Leave Safe Training

The course

The course consists of theory and practical. An understanding of how fire develops is given, action taken in case of fire, as well as a practical part of the course demonstrating how to use the appropriate fire extinguisher for different types of fires.

Aims

To introduce good practices for fire safety at work, appreciate human behaviour when a fire occurs and demonstrate a general awarenness of fire development and evacuation procedures. Plus the correct use of a variey of fire extinguishers.
